How we handle your data on KickScore

Last updated: July 11, 2026

KickScore (getkickscore.com) explains below how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our football scores, news, and stats service.

Who we are

KickScore operates the website at getkickscore.com and provides live football scores, fixtures, standings, match details, and related news for personal, non-commercial use.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at the contact address published on our website.

Information we collect

Usage and device data: When you visit KickScore, we and our service providers may collect information such as your browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, and referral URLs.

Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site performs and how visitors use it. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies.

Favorites: If you save favorite teams or matches, that information is stored locally in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to our servers unless we add account features in the future.

Push notifications: If you turn on goal alerts for a team or match, your browser creates a push subscription (endpoint URL and encryption keys). We store that subscription and your alert choices on our servers so we can send goal notifications. You can turn alerts off at any time from the same button.

We do not require you to create an account to use KickScore today.

How we use information

To operate, maintain, and improve KickScore.

To display live scores, fixtures, standings, news, and related content.

To measure site performance, fix errors, and understand aggregate traffic patterns.

To show advertising when enabled, as described in the Advertising section below.

To send web push notifications when you opt in to goal alerts for teams or matches.

Third-party services

We rely on third parties to deliver the service. They process data according to their own policies:

API-Football (apifootball.com) — match, team, and competition data used by our sync layer.

Supabase — database hosting for cached fixtures and related football data.

GNews — football news headlines and article metadata on the News page.

Vercel — hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring.

These providers may process technical data (such as IP addresses and request logs) when fulfilling requests on our behalf.

Advertising

KickScore may display advertisements to support the service. When advertising is enabled, ad partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads.

Phase 1 — Media.net: We may use Media.net to show contextual display advertising. Media.net and its partners may collect or receive information from your browser or device. You can learn more in Media.net's privacy policy at https://www.media.net/privacy-policy.

Phase 2 — Google AdSense: We may add Google AdSense in the future. If we do, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. We will update this policy before enabling Google advertising.

Advertising is controlled by environment configuration and may be turned off during development or in certain regions.

Cookies and similar technologies

KickScore and our partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for analytics, site functionality (such as theme preference), favorites, and advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

Data retention and security

We retain information only as long as needed to operate the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes. Cached match data in our database is refreshed on a schedule and older fixtures may be removed over time.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's privacy

KickScore is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at the contact address published on our website and we will take steps to delete it.

International users

KickScore is available globally. If you access the site from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States and the European Union.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. Contact us at the contact address published on our website to make a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of KickScore after changes means you accept the updated policy.
